SkyOne Federal Credit Union’s 75th Annual Meeting of Members will be held on Monday, April 22, 2024, 5:30 – 6:00 pm (PDT). Our Board Chairman, President & CEO, and Supervisory Committee will report on the Credit Union’s financial performance in 2023. The Nominating Committee has submitted the following nominations for our 2024 Board of Directors.
Willoughby (Bill) Henshaw, Incumbent
Mr. Henshaw has been a SkyOne Federal Credit Union member since 1977. He has a long-standing association with the organization as he served on the Supervisory Committee from 1999 to 2009 and has been a member of the Board of Directors since 2009. After serving more than 35 years of public service, he retired from the FAA. During his tenure at the FAA, he held various management positions in Technical Operations and Air Traffic Control, including the position of Program Manager for the creation of the Southern California TRACON, which is currently handling more airport approach traffic than any other facility in the country. He started his FAA career in Research and Development at the Washington, D.C. Headquarters and then transferred to California. After retirement, Mr. Henshaw served as a Director for a volleyball tournament organization. He graduated from West Virginia University with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
If there is one nominee for each position to be filled and no additional nominees, there will be no election by ballot, and the above nominees will be elected. There will be no nominations from the floor during the Annual Meeting. Other candidates may be considered for election by submitting a petition by April 10, 2023. This petition must include signatures from 500 members, a statement of qualification, biographical data, and a signed certificate stating that he or she is agreeable to nomination and will serve if elected.
